Growing weary

Galatians 6:9
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Anytime you are trying to break familiar patterns, it's difficult to stay out of your well-worn rut. Most of the time, they are habits that you have spent a lifetime building. That's why most weight loss attempts fail after a short time.

You have to find a motivation and strength outside of yourself to get results that are permanent.

You can't give up...or you won't reap what you are trying to sow.

Change is hard. God is stronger than your most stubborn weakness. Let him do some of your heavy lifting to increase your faith while you decrease your waistline.

Ephesians 6:10

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.

Weight Loss Inspiration from the Bible

I'm going to be working on using my faith to help me lose weight.  I'm learning I can not do it under my own steam.  This is my verse for the day.

http://bible.us/1Cor6.19.NIV 19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

Another that I keep running through my head is:

I need to be more prayerful and mindful of what I am doing with my body and IN my body.  Am I honoring God through my physical life?

Thoughts??
